Exceptional Alaskan King bed frame style from France. French Bed available in Texas King, Wyoming King and Alaskan King sizes. The headboard features heavily carved crown moldings and side panels with large swags of carved flowers accenting the headboard and footboard. Notice how the wide band of carved flowers with egg and dart molding at the base of the curved foot board, continues along the length of the side rails. A small addition in length to the side rails allows for a mattress and box spring to fit comfortably inside the frame. The photos show a single 10" thick quilted mattress resting on the support slats with the box spring. This is an exceptional French bed. This bed can be used with or without a boxspring. Mattress only is just fine.
